Some of the best food and service in town! This is some authentic Indian, and you can taste it. The chef truly handles the high quality spices and ingredients like a magician, creating the perfect blend of sweet and savory in every bite. Small things like keeping the bone in for the goat (which has NO gaminess! Yay!) really enhances the flavor and shows the kitchen knows what they’re doing. The staff is INCREDIBLY kind, helpful, and extremely knowledgeable about the dishes! The rice pudding dessert will give you and beautiful, rich experience and a lovely palette cool down to end the meal with. If you want the experience of a gormet meal and private chef for a fraction of the price, head on over. You’ll smile with every single taste you take. Tip: New to Indian food? Try butter chicken! My go to recommendation for beginners. ;)

I just got home from my first visit while had an errand nearby and loved it, some of best Indian food I have had. It great the culinary diversity of this town is expanding in recent years, there was no other customer while I was there hopefully it gets more business for many years to come. I ordered: Chicken Chatnar, a mild coconut curry, which was served in a decorative metal bowl alongside a bowl of rice with a plate to mix them as desired. A bread basket which was a large basket overflowing with four flavors of naan and roti flatbreads all hot and fresh. Went perfect with the sauce. And finally the Kheer, a sweet rice pudding, for dessert. By time finished the Chatnar I still had over half of the bread left to take home so pretty good value when include the amount of delicious leftovers I had.

This is by far one of the best restaurants I've been to. The staff know the menu inside and out and had no problem explaining to me what the items were and what the spice levels were like. They helped me choose items that fit what I was craving while keeping in mind my spice tolerance. I will 1000% be coming back here more often to get food. The smell of the food alone made it worth trying!!!

My wife and I decided to give Dada'r a try while on a date night and we are glad we did. From the moment we walked in, the staff was pleasant. They have a nice selection of food, and everything we had was delicious. Our server was very helpful when it came to recommendations and answering questions. I love spice/heat, but my wife can't handle heat, and everything was prepared with the proper level of heat for each of us. We will definitely be back and have recommended the restaurant to friends.

We discovered Dada'r Taste back in February of this year. Since then we have been back several times, each time taking someone new with us. We love the food and atmosphere. The staff is kind and knowledgeable about everything on their menu and they are so kind and helpful to my daughter who cannot eat gluten because of Celiac disease. She is usually very apprehensive about eating out because she doesn't feel safe with her food sensitivities but the staff at Dada'r Taste have been so helpful with safe food suggestions. And the food is incredibly delicious! If you've been thinking about trying this restaurant, just do it! Your soul will be fed, as well as your body.

Absolutely found this to be authentic food. With it being something unique and different that the area has, it’s very good and prices yes are high but are reasonable because flavorful and quality type of food is hard to come by. Most other places in the area are fast food and fried. This however gives you genuine Indian food. If you also have a cold and stuffy nose just have their food it will open your whole entire body to breathe again. I do say it’s in a weird place around other homes but don’t let that fool you on the quality. Hopefully they will gain enough traction to reach the perfect locations in the future. I recommend the chicken biryani and chicken saag. Both excellent. My husband is from India originally and he can attest how authentic their food is. I enjoyed very much and the owners are very nice willing to help find the best fitting dish for your spice level, and tastes that you enjoy. Different cultural food your open to try? Go right here for it!

Since moving from Boston to altoona I must say this place is a hidden gem! Food was flavorful and delicious. The owners are VERY nice and I thoroughly enjoyed everything about this place. I got the butter chicken with cheesey garlic naan bread white rice and a recommended dessert which was incredible. The gentleman also gave me a mango lassi to try and I couldn't put it down! Great renovations since the previous owner!

We went here for our anniversary dinner on 6/20. The food was beyond DELICIOUS, the staff was friendly, helpful, and clearly passionate about the quality of meals being served. Will absolutely be back, and will tell our friends/family to stop by. A absolute gem in Altoona! (Pic is lamb tikka masala, self plated. Husband had goat curry, and garlic naan, which I will dream about for days to come.)

Perhaps this one is the only bangladeshi restaurant in this area. The ambience is good with a limited seating spaces. But we went on a free time. The food tasted really good. I tasted Gobi, Chicken Karahi, Chicken sheekh kabab, Naan and Mango Lassi. The Chicken karahi and the sheekh Kabab were really good. But I had expected some sort of gravy or sauce with the sheekh kebab. The Karahi seasoning was really great. I was just frustrated with the Mango Lassi. The Mango Lassi was good but extremely sweet for me. They also serves bangladeshi fishes if ordered earlier by phone. I would love to see some Bangladeshi fish items and vorta/vegetables in regular menu when I visit next time.
